The Teacher

Ray of hope now covered with dark clouds
Smile stolen, blissfulness broken
Tattered and torn by your response
A mistake not to be forgotten

The greatest teacher, you are to me
something I hoped to be
Ill stand up high like you one day
Stomping roaches along the way

Praised me well when I did it good
Feeding me spoiled and rotten food
The world is round they say
ill get on your place someday

The harder I work, the more I become you
Suffering and pain, we always do
A bright tomorrow, overwhelming promises
Shattered dreams, unguaranteed happiness

What will become of me, my great teacher
Will I break their bones till their eyes flicker?
I will surely list your sons and daughters in the training chains.
When you leave your throne and retire in flames
